Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Solefolio ("the App," "Service," "we," "our," or "us").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Solefolio, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Solefolio is a mobile application that allows users to:

• Track their sneaker and accessory collections
• Monitor market values and portfolio performance
• View price history and market trends
• Access premium analytics features (with subscription)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use Solefolio, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Solefolio. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

4. Premium Subscription

4.1 Subscription Features

Premium subscription includes:

• 30-day performance charts
• Top gainers and losers analytics
• Average return statistics
• Automatic daily price updates

4.2 Billing and Payment

Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your Apple account will be charged upon confirmation of purchase
• Prices are set in your local currency as determined by the App Store

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

4.4 Free Trials

If offered, free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends. Any unused portion of the trial is forfeited upon purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute App content without permission
• Impersonate others or provide false information

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Rights

Solefolio and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Rights

You retain ownership of the data you input into Solefolio. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

7. Market Data and Pricing

We make no warranties regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of price data
• The actual resale value you may receive for your items
• Investment returns or portfolio performance predictions

Solefolio is for informational and tracking purposes only. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on data in the App.

8. Third-Party Services

Solefolio integrates with third-party services (e.g., The Sneaker Database API). We are not responsible for:

• The availability or accuracy of third-party services
• Third-party privacy practices or terms of service
• Any damages resulting from third-party service failures

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 "As Is" Service

Solefolio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 No Investment Advice

Solefolio is not a financial advisor. The App does not provide investment, tax, or legal advice. Consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Lost profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of Solefolio
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

11. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features at any time
• Change Premium subscription pricing with 30 days' notice
• Update these Terms (we'll notify you of material changes)

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@solefolio.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

13.2 Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if they qualify.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
